Fatal Encounter

Howard a well-known book publisher, is concerned for his wife, Joanna. Since returning from the country, she has become unusually distressed, nervous and mysterious. The play takes a sinister turn when Howard arrives home to discover Perry Kingsley and Joanna at his home after a terrible accident.

An Inspector Calls

A three-act drama, which takes place in a single night in 1912 and focuses on the prosperous middle-class Birling family, who live in a comfortable home in Brumley. The family is visited by a man calling himself Inspector Goole, who questions the family about the suicide of a young working-class woman, Eva Smith (also known as Daisy Renton).

Ghost Writer

At the last-night party is one Edward Pinfold, a promising young playwright, and husband of the talented but tempestuous actress, Ruby, who had played Ophelia.

Tragically, that very night, Ruby - a renowned reveller with a reputation for burning the candle at all three ends - is found dead in bed.

An overdose of naughty pills and booze. The theatre world went into a state of mourning that barely lasted into the afternoon. One year later, however, Edward remains deeply affected. Unable to face the emotional torment of living in his own home, he has moved into the attic room of one of his oldest actor friends, Alex.
